Courier Of House Korveryn

The title of Raven has been passed down to the first born child of the Korveryn family longer than the family has had that name, and with it come the responsibilities of maintaining their part in The Couriers Guild, an establishment just as old if not older. While much of the responsibilities associated with this title are simply to fulfil your duties as part of The Couriers Guild it also has a historically positive relationship with the temples of Santa Cora and High Druid resulting in the holder of the title being often a favoured choice for deliveries deep into the Wild Wood or those made on the orders of the Priestess, though as a recent inheritor Allia only has a couple years of real experience.

Backstory

Allia Korveryn Is the latest in a lineage spanning back five generations and a tradition that dates back further than records tell, a family not of nobility but of earned reputation; in preparation to take on her role in this family legacy she began working for The Couriers Guild from a young age, taking on duties around the city of New Port mostly checking in deliveries at the docks and assisting couriers in finding their way or procuring accommodations for those new to the city; during this time she would receive a delivery with no known address which was already unusual by guild standards, but after much effort and assistance from Civic, a colleague of her fathers she would come to find indispensable and a friend, they would attempt to track the package to its origin only to find a note stating the intended recipient was Allia; they eventually opened the package to find it contained a dwarven powder gun, after much confusion and deliberation with dwarven officials Civic was able to convince them of no wrong doing on Allia's part and filled out the necessary paper work, however due to the circumstances returning the weapon to the dwarves would be seen as an admission of guilt but keeping it didn't seem to leave them too pleased either, still better than ending up in a dwarven dungeon somewhere.

Some years later and shortly after turning 19 her Father would celebrate his retirement after 45 years as the courier of House Korveryn and would pass on the mantle to Allia. With this came the duties of a courier in the guild and she would begin making deliveries often from New Port to Santa Cora and back. Over the next few years she would make many deliveries while familiarizing herself with the routes of the Wild Wood and even making a couple trips to Glitterhaegen, she would experience much of what being a courier entails while making a variety of acquaintances along the way.

During her most recent trip to Glitterhaegen she would receive a summons from Postbrigadier Septimus to meet him in the city on the matter of a missing delivery.
